Samsung Galaxy S6 Specification and Release Date

After a series of production, Korean tech-giant Samsung unpacked the Galaxy S6 in March 1, 2015. It is the sixth edition of galaxy devices. Samsung changed a huge objects in the latest Galaxy S6. Unlike the previous versions of Galaxy, Samsung manufactured this device with Exynos 7420 instead of the legendary Qualcom chipset due to it's over heating and power hogging problem. This new chipset is 35% more power saving. Samsung focused on processor clock speed, camera, RAM and graphics processing unit (GPU). They didn't change the clock speed and processor core. 1.3 Ghz and 1.7 Ghz  Cortex A-57 CPU was designed for it. But Samsung boarded a super GPU Mali-T760 which will provide high-end gaming and multi tasking facility.

Samsung boarded a 20 Mega Pixel (MP) front and 5 MP back camera. The front camera is best ever and it can snap images with 4992 х 3744 pixels resolution. Other common features are optical image stabilization, phase detection, autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama.

Regarding video recording, S6 is also a great device. It can record up to 2160p@30fps, 1080p@60fps and 720p@120fps. Front facing camera can also record 1080p@30fps. Both camera have dual recording and video call feature.

Samsung designed S6 with all new idea making a body dimension of 143.3 x 70.8 x 6.9 mm (5.64 x 2.79 x 0.27 in) and screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (~587 ppi pixel density). Like other galaxy devices, S6 also manufactured with Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen 5.00 inch display having16M color with  the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Beyond doubt, it will have the latest TouchWiz Ui and Android 5.0 Lolipop.

Some new features like USB 3.0, Gesture and Heart rate sensor, wireless charging also boarded with Samsung Galaxy S6. Like other Samsung latest smartphones it doesn't have FM Radio support but have all the sensors like Accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer, gesture, heart rate that other manufacturers use now-a-days.
