Hello to all. I am going to teach you the basic things of HTML step by step in a chain tutorial. I'll provide a lesson everyday. Today I am going to discuss about a few uses of HTML.<br />
<br />
<br />
<b></b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.html-helper.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/HTML.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="241" src="http://www.html-helper.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/HTML.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<b><span style="color: #38761d;"></span></b><br />
<b><span style="color: #38761d;"><br /></span></b>
<b><span style="color: #38761d;"> </span></b><br />
<b><span style="color: #38761d;">What is HTML?</span></b><br />
<b><span style="color: #38761d;"> </span> </b><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Abbreviation of HyperText Markup Language, commonly referred to as HTML, is a markup language used to create web pages. It is written in the form of HTML elements consisting of tags enclosed in angle brackets (like <html>). HTML tags most commonly come in pairs like <h1> and </h1>, although some tags represent empty elements and so are unpaired, for example <img>. The first tag in a pair is the start tag, and the second tag is the end tag (they are also called opening tags and closing tags). - <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTML" target="_blank">Wikipedia</a></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><span style="color: #38761d;"><br /></span></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><span style="color: #38761d;">Why HTML</span>?</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
All objects of a web-page is quite practical. When we read newspaper, we can see a huge headline and next to it the original content. Using HTML, we can also do this. When we make a piece of text a headline of page using HTML, we calls it marking up. Basically, when you visit a web-page, there you can see some <b>bold, <i>italic, </i><u>underlined</u></b> words. These words are marked by HTML and the browser interprets them visualizing in the monitor.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.simavera.com/big-images/300076345-HTML-template-Newspaper.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://www.simavera.com/big-images/300076345-HTML-template-Newspaper.jpg" width="522" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Like the above image we can also create a page using HTML and CSS.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
We often see a list, tables, images and other things in a newspaper. Using HTML we can also give a look of our page like that. You will learn more about it in <b>Lesson 2.</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><span style="color: #38761d;">A Basic HTML Document</span></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/8/84/HTML.svg/659px-HTML.svg.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/8/84/HTML.svg/659px-HTML.svg.png" width="274" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b><span style="color: #38761d;"></span></b><span style="color: #38761d;"><span style="color: black;">Here you can see HTML document. There are a few things to notice here. A HTML document consists of elements like "HTML", "HEAD", "TITLE", "BODY"....these are called <b><i>HTML TAG</i></b>. They are used to identify a location or text of a web-page. </span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #38761d;"><span style="color: black;"><br />An element starts with "<...>" and ends with "</...>". For example "<HTML></HTML>. HTML document basically starts this tag.</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #38761d;"><span style="color: black;"><span style="color: #38761d;"><b>My Words</b></span></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #38761d;"><span style="color: black;"><span style="color: #38761d;"><span style="color: black;">Actually, the uses of HTML are numerous. Today I showed you what is HTML, why it is used and a HTML documents. I know it is nothing regarding the real HTML. From the next day, I will start teaching you HTML practically through examples. Wait for the lesson 02.</span></span> </span></span></div>
</div>
<script type="text/javascript">
  ( function() {
    if (window.CHITIKA === undefined) { window.CHITIKA = { 'units' : [] }; };
    var unit = {"calltype":"async[2]","publisher":"nayem1998","width":550,"height":250,"sid":"Chitika Default"};
    var placement_id = window.CHITIKA.units.length;
    window.CHITIKA.units.push(unit);
    document.write('<div id="chitikaAdBlock-' + placement_id + '">

');
}());
